Barter Law are a longstanding North Shore legal practice that punches well above their weight in litigation circles. Their management team approached us for a brand refresh because the firm’s public image didn’t reflect its reputation for leader-thinking. Our brand strategist Alissa Wheatley was originally a lawyer, so she was a natural choice to lead this project.
SIGNAGE (INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR)
After laying a solid foundation of strategy, we took Barter Law’s dated 1980s brand assets and gave them a contemporary makeover. Bold use of salmon pink and navy (echoing the Financial Times) makes the firm unforgettable, while an intriguing diagonal maze-patterned B and L forms in the logo suggest the multiple skill set – complex litigation, sound commercial advice, practical solutions – that Barter Law is known for.
Barter Law’s evolved brand assets present the firm as a force to be reckoned with in dispute resolution, commercial law, property law and employment law. Our designs were implemented across all stationery and signage. We also planned and built their responsive website.
